ESPI: Impacting the Distracted Driving Epidemic - Paul Atchley

Dr. Paul Atchley, Associate Professor in Psychology, uses his expertise on distracted driving to impact public policy and public opinion across a wide range of venues. He is a frequent presenter at traffic safety conferences, where he works inform engineers, first responders, and risk managers about the dangers of distracted driving. He has worked with safety advocacy groups such as FocusDriven and the National Safety Council to improve awareness of the distracted driving epidemic. He is currently working with the Kansas Department of Transportation to develop safety campaigns to reduce distracted driving. And, as a regular blogger for the CarTalk Distracted Driving blog, he eductaes the general public about the risks of distracted driving.
